Our roofing division offers eight different types of roofs:

Low Slope Roofing:
TPO Roof System: Thermoplastic Polyolefin single ply roofing
membranes are one of the fastest growing roofing products on the
market today.

EPDM: Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer is a synthetic
rubber roof sealant.

PVC: PVC or polyvinyl chloride is a flat roofing membrane. PVS is one
kind of single ply roofing, which means it consists of one layer manufactured
in the factory. APVC roofing membrane is made of thick, flexible,
UV-resistant thermo plastic material.

Modified and Built Up Roofing: Built up roof membranes referred to
by the acronym BUR have been in use in the US for more than 100
years. These roof systems are commonly referred to as “tar and gravel”
roofs. BUR systems generally are composed of alternating layers of
bitumen and reinforcing fabrics that create a finished membrane.

Metal Roofing:
Exposed Fastener Panels: These panels are mostly used for residential,
light commercial and industrial applications.and have exposed
fasteners for attachment. Panels are available in widths of 24” to 36”
and thickness from 29 ga. to 24 ga. steel.

Snap Lock Panels: Panels are attached with clips and are mostly
used in residential and light commercial applications. Panels are
available in widths of 12 to 18 inches and thickness from 26 ga. to
24 ga.These panels require plywood or another solid surface base.

Structural Standing Seam: These panels are mostly used for commercial
and industrial applications.Sometimes these panels are required for
high wind zones in residential areas. Panels are available for 12” to 24”
of coveragewith thickness from24 ga. to 22 ga. steel and .032 to .040
aluminum. These panels are attached using concealed clips and can
be installed over plywood or open framing.

Retrofit Framing Systems:
Retrofit framing systems based on the building requirements. They can
include the typical post and beam up to and including structural steel.
Light gauge trusses and metal deck may also be used.

MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS
I&E Specialties, Inc. offers maintenance contracts for your low slope or metal
roofs. This service includes yearly inspections and light repairs.
